Egypt Law : Public Property


Public property is inviolable, the protection and maintenance of which is every citizen’s duty in accordance with the law.

Private property is safeguarded and may not be subject to sequestration unless in conditions set forth in the law and by virtue of a court ruling. Property may not be expropriated except for the public good and in consideration of a fair compensation, all of which is in accordance with the law. Freedom of opinion is guaranteed.

Everyone has the right to express and publicize their opinion verbally, in writing, by illustration, or by any other means of expression within the law.
